Hi, I’m Ingrid, and I’m so very glad you stopped by!
I’m a “girlie-girl” with a classic style who loves all things glamorous. I love decorating and home staging. I’m a movieholic AND…. I love to sing. I sang my first solo when I was 11 and I’ve been hooked ever since!
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I graduated Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Although my career path post-college didn’t quite go the way I saw it playing out in my head, I kept it moving and through the years I pursued my singing endeavors while working in private and public business sectors. Over the years a few other gifts and talents surfaced and I began to nurture and pursue those too! I’ve become accomplished in a host of varied areas from make-up application and instruction, image consulting, home staging and decorating, to writing, pageant coaching and mentoring. I have always had an eye for putting things together on a dime for an end result of fabulousness, whether it’s a room or an outfit. I did extensive work as a voiceover artist and a studio session singer, participating in countless musical productions.
In 2001 I wrote, performed, produced and released the Contemporary Christian cd “Forever”. And in 2011 I released “Back 2 Classic”, a compilation of classic jazz standards made famous by the likes of Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Washington. Birthed from an immense desire to bring back the iconic grace, style, poise and elegance of the1940’s pop music stage style, this project pays homage to some of the greatest writers, musicians and singers of our time. It was during the production of B2C that “love. grace. class. style.” was created. A blog, yes, but also the core mantra of my most meaningful passion, and that is to teach and train girls and young women in the areas of etiquette, femininity and self-esteem.
I am always ever-hopeful, believing that anything is possible. With a determination, commitment, drive and focus to never stop going for my dreams and live on my own terms, always trusting God’s lead, there is no ceiling to the heights I can soar to.
